The Macallan Art is the Flower has been exclusively matured in European Sherry seasoned oak casks and expertly brought together by The Macallan Whisky Maker, drawing on an extensive inventory of quality European oak casks containing notes of raisin and fig, polished oak, cherry blossom, almonds, orange, and treacle. The whisky itself, as well as the packaging, take inspiration from Charles Rennie Mackintosh, from the name being an excerpt from a lecture of his, to the packaging being inspired by one of his stained glass windows 'The Spirit of the Rose' even down to the writing being in the Mackintosh font, this is all a great homage to the man.
