Crafted from durable WoodStone(r), a unique blend of wood fibres and concrete, this nest box offers excellent insulation and long-lasting strength. It helps keep nesting birds cooler in summer and warmer in spring chills, while standing up beautifully to the British weather. The 32mm entrance hole is ideal for species such as Great Tits, House Sparrows, Pied Flycatchers, Redstarts and Crested Tits, giving them a space that feels safe and perfectly sized. A sturdy metal hanging ring makes it easy to position at least 1.5 metres above the ground, ideally in a sheltered spot away from strong winds and direct midday sun. Once the breeding season has finished, cleaning is straightforward. Simply unhook the metal ring, lift off the top section and remove the old nesting material. Then reassemble by guiding the small metal loop back through the top and securing the ring in place. A quick annual clean keeps this thoughtfully designed nest box ready for many seasons to come.
