The team experimented with more than 100 different ingredients creating 189 prototypes before finally settling on their recipe for FreeGlider. They went to these lengths because they believe that choosing not to drink alcohol shouldn't mean compromising on quality or flavour. This Juniper & Citrus Non-Alcoholic Spirit comes in at less than 0.5% ABV which is classed as alcohol-free by EU law and you might find a similar level in a ripe banana or some orange juice. We like to combine it in a 1:3 ratio with premium tonic water but you can also flex your cocktail skills by mixing up an alcohol-free Basil Smash Clover Club or Tom Collins. The perfect way to glide on into Dry January or Sober October. Whether you're trying to be a little more abstemious for health reasons looking for a gift for a non-drinker or just wanting to add something a little more inclusive to your drinks cabinet then you've just found one of the finest gin alternatives on the market. Sipsmith was the first London Distillery to be opened in over 100 years. Two childhood friends Fairfax Hall and Sam Galsworthy had a belief in tradition and doing things properly. So they created the first traditional copper distillery in London since 1820. Everything is handcrafted there are no machines making decisions on the cut timings just the distiller's art. Their three stills - Prudence Patience and Constance - gleam in copper excellence as they create some of the finest gin on the planet. These are then reduced to bottling strength using the pure water of Lydwell Spring a source of the River Thames. It may be relatively new but Sipsmith has quickly become a classic.
