Dundee Ghat was built by a local businessman to honor the ascetics known as Dundee Phants (from danda "stick"). A distinctive feature of Dandi Swami is a stick as a symbol of spiritual honesty and service to the "Dharma". Dandin never parted with her and at night sticks next to him in the ground. On some steps of the Ghat there are even special holes for fixing the staves during the ritual ablutions of monks in the sacred Ganges. At the top of the stone staircase is the Shiva Temple. Looking at this series of white and red steps rising to the top, I involuntarily wondered: "What if our life is not a series of black and white stripes, but a series of white and bright ones?" It's enough just to change the established paradigm and step up your ladder).
