Cannondale Jekyll 1 2020 Women's Mountain Bike | Purple

About the Cannondale Jekyll Carbon Women's 1This precision instrument is for the enduro artists, the ones who will use all 150mm of its Fox Float performance travel and poppy quickness to dance and float through the chop and chunder on their way to the top step. With its improved sizing and geometry designed with women in mind, unlock the potential of this punchy ripper, purpose-built for hunting enduro podiums. Co-developed with Fox, the performance system adds to the killer performance of Fox shocks. Easily adjust the dampening for the customized responsive feel you want, either for pumping through turns, sprints and traction-challenged climbs. Or for full Fox travel when things get rough. Asymmetric Integration (Ai) delivers some of the shortest stays on the trail yet has more tyre clearance and frame stiffness than even Boost frames can muster. For this 2020 model Cannondale have kitted the Jekyll out with bigger more capable 29" wheels for improved rolling ability and speed. Plus, a rear wheel that's stiffer and stronger thanks to the Ai even-dish build. It all adds up to the kind of agility and traction that must be ridden to be believed. The Jeckyll Delivers all the slack stability you'd expect from a top enduro rig, but with uncanny agility and snap, thanks to the ultra-short chainstays of its Ai rear end. Placing a link between the swingarm and the shock has allowed Cannondale's engineers to customise the system's leverage ratios for optimal suspension response throughout the stroke and keep the suspension active under braking, while retaining the stiffness, durability and reliability of a single pivot design. With BallisTec Carbon construction, the stout Ai rear end and LockR pivots holding everything tightly together, the Jekyll has incredible chassis stiffness for precise control and explosive acceleration. From introducing the cycling industry's first bicycle trailer, the Bugger, and added successful cycling apparel and accessory lines while earning a strong reputation for innovation and quality. Cannondale introduced their first bicycle, a Touring model, in 1983. They raised the cycling world's eyebrows by building their bicycles around handcrafted, oversized aluminium frames that were both lighter and more flex-resistant than the steel models that dominated the industry at the time. In the last 14 years, Cannondale won five Giro d'Italia Maglia Rosas and, most recently, they won the Giro d'Iltalia and the Vuelta a Espana in one single year!
